Since March 24, 2022, the FFP2 mask has again been mandatory for access to hotels or accommodation facilities and restaurants in Austria. When entering Austria, the 3G rule also applies.
Recognized proof of entry:
- Recovered: a separation notice or a doctor’s confirmation of an infection that occurred in the past six months and has currently expired (antibody tests are no longer valid).
- Vaccinated: Confirmation of the vaccination status with a green COVID-19 passport. The exemption from the obligation to test applies from the day of the 2nd vaccination and is valid for 180 days. The third vaccination (booster) is valid for 270 days.
- Tested: officially recognized negative test results (PCR tests are valid for 72 hours, antigen tests for 24 hours).
