Breathtaking scenery and great fishing grounds
From rushing streams to idyllic mountain lakes – South Tyrol is rich in fishing waters in an impressively beautiful landscape. The large selection of wonderful fishing grounds with varied shores and special water quality guarantees anglers holiday joy with relaxing moments and unforgettable adventures.
Fishing waters in mountainous landscapes typically have low water temperatures and often strong currents, which is why salmonids feel particularly at home here. The majority of the waters are stocked with trout, but also with brook char, perch, grayling, whitefish pike. Due to its inner-alpine location on the southern edge of the Alps, South Tyrol has different climate zones, but is also a melting point between alpine coziness and Mediterranean flair, offering delicious cuisine influenced by Tyrol and Italy. This is how the fishing holiday in South Tyrol becomes pure enjoyment.
