Methods – what applies here
- Fly fishing: Line class 4 to 5 and rod length 7 feet to 8 feet 6 inches, leader about 6 feet and 0.14 to 0.16 mm in faster sections.
- Dry fly: Use rather large, high-floating patterns and present them in eddies behind rocks or in pockets along the banks.
- Nymph: New Zealand style with slim patterns like Perdigón, Caddis Larva, or Gammarus.
- Spin fishing: Spinning rod with casting weight 10 to 40 g.
